Sunday School
Woodcliff United follows the Season's Of The Spirit Sunday School Curiculum. Seasons of the Spirit is a lectionary-based resource created by an international team of writers and editors representing denominations from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, and the UK. For more information you may visit their website at http://www.spiritseasons.com. Sunday School is available for all children 3 years old to Grade 6.  Grades 7 and up are involved in the Youth Group.  Infants to 2 years old can use the nursery at the back of the sanctuary – there are toys and for the parents, the service can be heard via a speaker in that room.

Sunday school registration – all children must be registered for Sunday School –  forms are at the Sunday School bulletin board in the Lower Hall.

Sunday Mornings
–         parents/guardians are encouraged to get their children’s’ name tags from upstairs before heading to the service or Sunday School.  If your child doesn’t have a permanent name tag yet, there are sticky name tags available.
–         children start off in the service upstairs with their parents/guardians
–         children take part in children’s time
–         after children’s time, children move downstairs and meet as a large group where offering is taken, Lord’s Prayer said and maybe a song is sung
–         children then go to their classes – parents/guardians are encouraged to leave their children if they’re able.
–         Tracy lets the teachers know when church is over and teachers then bring the kids up to reunite them with their parents/guardians during our coffee/fellowship time,  juice is provided by the church after the service during coffee/fellowship time.

Offering – at the Sunday School bulletin board location, there are small offering envelopes that families can take home and kids can use on Sunday mornings.

Youth
Woodcliff United offers a Youth Program for Grades 7 - 12. Amy Spark joined us in Aug 2011 as our Youth Coordinator.  Youth group is meant as a way to bring teenagers of the same faith together in learning and fun, giving them an opportunity to build camaraderie with one another and to have a place they can go to for advice and guidance. This is a safe environment for youth to express their views, hear others views, seek their path and journey with God. Youth have participated in various joint service activities as well as Youth Conferences (YC Alberta), World Vision's 30-hour Famine.

FYNE - Friday Youth Night Events are planned fun events that happen twice a month either just Woodcliff Youth or in conjunction with other congregations. Friends are always welcome at these events. During the summer there will be some youth events planned. Check the New Events listing for these events.
